CBSE Mandatory Public Disclosure 2026: Schools Must Update on Website

The General Information section is the foundation of the CBSE Mandatory Public Disclosure (MPD) page. Every CBSE-affiliated school must prominently display essential institutional details, including the school name, affiliation number, school code, complete address, principal's qualifications, official email ID, and contact information. This ensures transparency and enables parents, students, and stakeholders to verify the school's identity and affiliation status.

The Documents and Information section requires every CBSE-affiliated school to upload self-attested copies of all mandatory statutory certificates and approvals on its official website. These documents verify the school's legal status, safety compliance, recognition, and infrastructure standards. CBSE has clearly stated that all uploaded documents must be genuine and duly self-attested by the Chairman/Manager/Secretary and Principal, failing which the school may face action under the Affiliation Bye-Laws.

The Result and Academics section showcases a school's academic transparency and performance. CBSE requires every affiliated school to publish key academic information, including the fee structure, annual academic calendar, School Management Committee (SMC), Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) details, and the last three years' CBSE Board Examination results for Classes X and XII (where applicable). This enables parents and stakeholders to assess the school's academic planning, governance, and overall performance.

The Staff (Teaching) section highlights the academic strength and human resources of a CBSE-affiliated school. Schools are required to disclose details of the Principal, Vice Principal, Headmaster/Headmistress, total teaching staff, PGT, TGT, and PRT teachers, along with their names, designations, and qualifications. Additionally, schools must publish the teacher-section ratio, details of the Special Educator, and the Counsellor & Wellness Teacher to demonstrate compliance with CBSE staffing norms and ensure transparency for parents and stakeholders.

The School Infrastructure section provides a comprehensive overview of the physical facilities available in a CBSE-affiliated school. Schools must disclose details such as the total campus area, classrooms, laboratories, library, internet connectivity, sanitation facilities, and CWSN-friendly infrastructure. Additionally, CBSE requires schools to provide a YouTube video link of the school inspection, allowing parents and stakeholders to virtually assess the campus and verify the infrastructure claimed by the school.
